How to get to Pavlovsk from St. Petersburg

The main park of the state museum-reserve covers an area of more than 600 hectares. Here you can see not only trees and flower beds, but also the works of brilliant architects like Charles Cameron, Giacomo Quarenghi, Karl Rossi, etc.
Car
If you decide to travel to Pavlovsk by car, the road will take from 40 to 60 minutes. The main directions are Vitebsky Prospekt and Moskovskoye Shosse. The suburb is located about 50 kilometers from St. Petersburg; depending on the selected route it will take you less or more time to get there. The roads are pretty good.
Rail transport
Trains depart from Vitebsky Station to Pavlovsk every day. Do not be afraid to be late; traffic interval - every 15-25 minutes, from morning to late evening. The fare is a little more than 50 rubles; travel time is about 40 minutes.
You can also leave for Pavlovsk from the Kupchino railway station (metro station of the same name) for 44 rubles. Electric trains run at intervals of 15-30 minutes all day long.

Bus / minibus
The cost of one trip is about 55 rubles. Buses and minibuses depart to the Pavlovsk Palace from several metro stations:
• Moskovskaya metro station (in front of the House of Soviets) - minibus №299;
• Kupchino metro station - minibuses №521 and №286.
There is another option: first get to the Pavlovsk railway station by minibus, and then to the palace by local transport. The following options are available:
• Moskovskaya metro station (in front of the House of Soviets) - minibus №545;
• Kupchino metro station - minibus №545A;
• Zvyozdnaya metro station - minibus №363 and bus №179.
From the Pavlovsk station to the palace and park ensemble you can get by buses (№370, №372, №375A, №383, №493), as well as minibuses (№286, №299, №521).
